Whoa...

The first seedlings are up. I was planning on posting progress in about a week from planting, but it's only been four days. I noticed the watermelon was up this morning:



When I got around to taking a picture of it this evening (just now), I opened the lid and saw that the spinach had a little seedling showing up as well:





These plants weren't supposed to germinate for at least another 2-3 days- at the very earliest. Holy hannah.

UPDATE: As of this morning, more watermelon and spinach are up as well as the chives and onion- wow! This is exciting!

  1. maybe now you can show some love to Spring time. I know you think winter is the best but the warmer months do have some appeal.

  2. Spring is alright... I just hate summer. Spring would be awesome if it didn't have the impending doom of deathly hot summer attached to it. But yes- it has lightened that a bit because some of my plants really like the heat- I'll give you that.
