Latest Cakes

Cake (as well as the cake stand) I recently made:




and another for a little girl's birthday; there is one main cake and then two individual matching cakes for the birthday girl and her great-grandmother (it was her birthday as well!):

    Mmmmmm....that little girl's cake tasted as good as it looks too. I'm not sure which bird it was that I ate, but he was delicious!

    Beautiful cakes. You are so talented. When are you going to open your own bakery? If we live in the same town maybe I could be your bread expert. I've always wanted to perfect bread-making and have a bread shop.

    And I really like the idea of the granny & grand daughter sharing birthdays ! But even better : instead of sharing the cake, they multiply the cakes ! Woohoo :D

    Thank you, all! Yes- the little cakes were fun to make. I think that is my favorite (miniature cakes), like the ones I posted about earlier (the tiered ones). The birds were sculpted out of fondant.
